How To Screenshot on Mac

On a Mac, you can take a screenshot using the following keyboard shortcuts:

1. Capture Entire Screen:
  • Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 3.
  • Screen shot will be save on your MacBook.


2. Screen shot a Selected Area of the Screen:
  • Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 4.
  • Drag to select the area you want to capture.
  • Release the mouse or trackpad button.
  • The screenshot is saved on your desktop.


3. Capture a Specific Window:
  • Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 4.
  • Press the Spacebar.
  • Click on the window you want to Take Screenshot.
  • The screenshot is saved on your desktop.
